Meet Your Coaches
CATHERINE AUMAN, LMFT
Catherine is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Founder of The Transpersonal Center. She has been integrating the spiritual and the psychological since her graduate work in Transpersonal Psychology in 1983. Catherine’s experience includes private practice, psychiatric hospitals, chemical dependency treatment centers, residential treatment, and consulting nationally with mental health facilities. She was previously Director of Behavioral Health Services at Glendale Memorial Hospital, Redlands Community Hospital, and the Alpha Recovery Center. She taught psychology and counseling at JFK University, the University of Phoenix, and The Chicago School for Professional Psychology. Catherine received her M.A. in Psychology from Antioch University in 1983, her license as a Marriage and Family Therapist in 1993 (30784), and she is a Master NLP Practitioner. Catherine Auman has frequently appeared as a mental health expert on national TV shows. She is the award-winning author of seven books, and her writings have been published in journals, magazines, and books in the US, Finland, and Norway.
GREG LAWRENCE
Greg Lawrence joined The Transpersonal Center in 2017. Greg is a Psychedelic Integration and Transformational Coach, speaker, educator, and active member of the Southern California psychedelic community. In addition to his private practice Greg provides integration support to international retreat centers, and he works as a Psychedelic Integration Coach with two organizations that focus on psychedelic advocacy, education, harm reduction and integration:
- Psychedelic Experience Integration (PsychedeLiA), where Greg does integration work with clients one-on-one and also facilitates bi-weekly Community Integration Circles.
- Innerspace Integration, where Greg serves as a member of their Integration Support Network.
In working with people Greg draws upon his studies and knowledge of psychology, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, integrative coaching, meditation, breath work and energy/body work, as well as his own deep experience using psychedelics and entheogens for personal and spiritual growth.
